Boyd County Junior High volleyball went on the road Monday afternoon for their first game in Verdigre. They played two games against the Lady Cougars where they unfortunately came home with a 7-25, 9-25 loss in the B game and a split of 24-26, 25-22, and 8-15 for the A team. Each girl went out and played hard gaining a lot of experience along the way. This was the third game of the season for the Cougars, who had some great servers. The Lady Spartans set goals Tuesday in practice to improve on their passing, serving and hitting. They are excited to get back at it Saturday for a tournament at St. Mary’s.
