Rob Thompson, Superintendent
I grew up in a family that consisted of three brothers and no sisters. This combination developed a competitive nature that led me into playing/watching sports, hunting and fishing.
My parents were both employed in the education field.
From a young age and throughout my life, education has always been important. Education can and will open many doors and opportunities in our lives.
I received my Undergraduate Degree in Industrial Technology, Master’s Degree in K – 12 Counseling and a Master’s Degree in 7-12 Administration from Wayne State College. My final degree was a Specialist’s Degree in Administration from UNK.
I am married (Tammy) and we have 4 children (3 boys and 1 girl) and12 grandchildren (10 boys and 2 girls).
I am excited to start my new job as Superintendent in Boyd County. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
