The Boyd County Spartans opened their Junior High season with a 12-36 loss to the Summerland Bobcats. Barrett Koenig and Charlie Adams each found the endzone for the Spartans. Several players had good showings in their opening game. After the game the younger players had a chance to show off their offensive and defensive abilities. Alana Widstrom and Preston Brewer each found the endzone during this time.
