Spartan Football vs Madison
On Friday the 13th, the Spartans held their first home game against the Madison Dragons. In an afternoon game the Dragons proved to be too much for the Spartans. Madison came from a convincing win the week before and looked to keep that momentum going. Hats off to Madison as they came in and were ready to play right away and from the opening possession, set the tone for the game. All game long the Spartans struggled offensively. By the time the game had ended, the final score read 42-0 in favor of the Dragons.
Kannin Ellwanger led the defense with 16 total tackles. Jory Zeisler had 14 total tackles, and Cory Koenig finished with 12. Luke Reiman forced a fumble.
