The Boyd County Girls Junior High split two games with Andes Central/Andes Christian. In the first game,offense was hard to come by as the Spartans only scored 5 to their opponent's 25. Jaylee Lechtenberg had 4 points while ReNae Kluckman added a free throw for the Spartans.
A variety of players found the basket in the second game as Boyd County earned a 22-16 victory. Alaina McBride led the way with 8 points, while Kyla McCarthy, Kaci Koenig, Maddy Brown, Selena Whipple, Aurora Ziebro, Katelynn Faus and Alana Widstrom all added 2.
The Junior High Girls Basketball teams split two games with North Central also this week. In the first game, the BC girls used strong defense to hold the Knights to 10 points, while securing the win with 12 of their own. Claire Reiman and ReNae Kluckman led the way with 4 points each. Ashlynn Finnegan and Jaylee Lechtenberg added a pucket each.
In the second game, North Central came away with a 14-4 win over the Spartans. Boyd County's scoring came from Alana Windrom and Alaina McBride. The Spartans will have a little brak before hosting the Summerland Bobcats on December 11.
