The Boyd County Girls Junior High Basketball team traveled to Orchard Saturday to take on the Summerland Bobcats. The Spartans dropped the first game 2-8 with Destiny Bennet providing the only points for the Spartans. The second game was much more exciting, with several lead changes before the Spartans fell 19-13. The young Spartans showed a lot of improvement on offense and defense. Addison Birmeier led the team with 10 points. ReNae Kluckman was the other scorer for the Spartans with 3 points. The Spartans will host West Holt on December 21st.
