The BC Junior High Girls Basketball team traveled to Lake Andes last week to take on the Andes Central/Dakota Christian girls. In the first game, Boyd COunty lost 19-33, but showed some promise. Mazee Johnson led the team in scoring with 8 points. She was followed by, Ashlynn Finnegan with 5, and Jaylee Lechtenberg, ReNae Kluckman and Lexi Tikalsky all with 2. Boyd County finished well at the free throw line, making 3 of 4 attempts.
The second game did not go as well, as the Young Boyd County team fell to the tune of 2-78. Claire Reiman scored the only points for the Spartans against a very aggressive AC/DC team.
