On Saturday, Oct 9, 2021 four 8th graders participated in the State Junior High All Class Cross Country meet in Papillon. Will Nelson competed in the boys championship division. He metaled in 22nd place out of 305 runners with an 11:01 time on the 3,000 meter course. Ethan Zeisler and brook Strom competed in the boys open. Zeisler metaled placing 12th out of 243 runners in 11:52. Strom missed the medals by one, placing 26th in 12:22 time. ReNae Kluckman competed in the girls open event. She placed 38th out of 164 girls in a 14:25 time. Congrats to all the runners!!! The future of Boyd County cross country is looking bright!
