The Freshman Science Fair Projects are well underway. After learning about the Scientific Method, students were able to pick a topic in which they were interested in learning more about. Students then wrote a research paper and have now started working on constructing their projects and running trials to gather data. Some of the projects include: Water Quality testing, Physical Activity vs. Social Media Scrolling, Plant Growth comparisons, Homemade Fly Traps, and Physiologic Response to Fear. Each pair of scientists are navigating their way through the Scientific Method which will result in them sharing their results with the classmates, as well as the community. Each group will have their project on display in the Multipurpose room on Dec. 15, during the home basketball games. Please stop by and check out the hard work each group has been putting in and maybe learn a thing or two!
