State Powerlifting

The Boyd County Powerlifting team traveled to Harvard, Nebraska to compete in the 2023 Class D State Meet. Several players set personal bests and team records, while the girls brought home the third place trophy.
Setting records for BC were Alana Widstrom in Squat, Deadlift and Total, Addison Biermeier in Squat, Jagger Reiser in Deadlift, Aidyn Garwood in Deadlift, Savanna Ferris in Deadlift, and Weston Keyes in Bench, Squat and Deadlift.
All of these lifters set personal bests, as did Amelia Hakl, Teegan Henderson, Savanna Ferris, Koy Gonzales, Tanner Reiser, Amanda Davis, Ben Schmitz, and John Wendt.
The team will finish their season at Orchard on April 1.
