The East Campus Kindergartens hosted an antique show on Friday, March 25th. Pre-K through 4th grade took a tour around the lunchroom, looking at antique items brought from a variety of people. Community members, teachers, and students all brought items to share! A few items viewed were a dress worn by a staff member when she was one-year-old, vintage toys, cards/report cards from over 100 years ago, a hymnal written in Native American language, and so much more! Students were able to crank the handle on a butter churn, pump a vintage top so it would spin, and listen to many stories of how specific items were used. There were lots of questions and conversations had about how things have evolved and changed over the years. Thank you to everyone who made this event a success!
