Boyd County FFA traveled to Norfolk on March 2nd to compete in the first round of District X CDEs. Results are as follows:
Farm and Agribusiness Management - Reserve Champion Team, state qualifiers
- Trevor (champion individual), Amelia (9th place individual), Bentley, Paige
Ag Technology and Mechanics - 3rd place team, state qualifiers
- Trevor (champion individual in energy systems), Brett, Jake, Sam
Agriscience
- Ben, Blaine, Cash, Carson, Elizabeth, Hudson, Mariah, Lexy. The top four from this contest will advance to state convention.
Floriculture - 8th place team
- Lanie (9th place individual), Brynn, Katelyn, Leah
Food Science - 4th place team
- Lanie (4th place individual), Brynn, Katelyn, Natasha
Vet Science - 8th place team
- Timothy (10th place individual), Haylie, Natalie
Livestock Management- 11th place team
- Leah, Natasha, Sam, Cora, Carson
The FFA students are on to Round 2 of district CDEs on March 14th for their meats, vet science, agronomy, and natural resources teams!
