In match two, the Spartans faced off against a perennial power in C-1 Columbus Scotus.  Boyd County used high energy in set one and used some Scotus errors to their advantage.  The set was close throughout but Scotus came out on top in set 1 and then dominated in set 2 as the Spartans struggled to produce an offense, 23-25, 9-25.  Amelia scored 5 points from the serving line. Consistent serving again helped the Spartans roll offensively.  Amelia and Lanie both had 7 points from the service line with Paige adding 5.  Amelia and Daydra each had 6 kills with Haylie adding 5.  Paige recorded 18 set assists.  Haylie had 18 digs and Paige added 17.
